Concurrent Enrollment
Harrison School District 2 is proud to have a Concurrent Enrollment partnership with Pikes Peak State College.
Concurrent Enrollment opportunities exist at our D2 high schools and allow our students to take college credit-bearing courses while they are still in high school. These courses are offered for nominal fees or at no cost to the student and their family. Depending on the course, students will receive instruction in one of the following manners:
- Courses taught at the high school campus by professors employed by the district.
- Courses taught at the high school campus by professors employed by the college/university.
- Courses taught at the college/university campus by professors employed by the college/university.
Concurrent Enrollment is a low-cost to no-cost opportunity for students to gain college credits prior to high school graduation. There are numerous benefits to this approach. Check with your high school counseling department for specifics on concurrent enrollment and whether it is right for your student.
